Season launch cocktail function

Lexus of Brighton Showroom, 99 Nepean Highway, Elsternwick
Date: Thursday 10th April 2008

Black and White coterie sponsor Lexus of Brighton hosted the inaugural member launch function held at the Lexus of Brighton show room.

Members were able to meet and greet and view the Lexus cars on showcase. Members were also addressed by Collingwood Football Club CEO, Gary Pert who officially welcomed all members to the coterie group and shared his thoughts about the year ahead with the coterie members - an exclusive opportunity.


Match Function - Collingwood V Geelong (Round 9)

Date: Friday 23rd May 2008

Members had the exclusive opportunity to walk onto the MCG pre-match which included a group photo shoot on the ground.

Members were then welcomed with food and beverages and heard the insider tips from Collingwood Assistant Coach Alan Richardson on the Pies strategy for the defeat of the Cats. Alan Richardson was interviewed by sports radio host Angela Pippos.

Black and White coterie Patron James Clement, proceeded to interview Des Tuddenham, Collingwood legend and AFL Hall of Fame Inductee in 2008, who shared a few tips to success and memories of his time at Collingwood.

Black and White coterie members and guests celebrated an 86 point victory over the Cats, a memorable function.

Presidents Dinner - Collingwood V Kangaroos (Round 5)

Date: Saturday 19th April 2008

Black and White Coterie members were formally welcomed by CFC President, Eddie McGuire at the Presidents Dinner in Round 5, against the Kangaroos.

Members enjoyed the opportunity to network among other Collingwood members, corporates and staff from the CFC and also had the opportunity to hear from Adam Hills from Spicks and Specks, who opened up the evening with an entertaining speech.

Members enjoyed the fine dining of the Olympic Room, networking and the atmosphere.

Boardroom Luncheons 2008

Boardroom Luncheons are a great opportunity to network with fellow members and hear from prominent players and staff within the Collingwood Football Club (CFC). The following luncheons were held in 2008:

July 18, Matthew Cain from Bell Potter Securities; Guest speaker Paul Licuria, General Manager VFL CFC.

August 27, Justin Lawrence from Henderson & Ball Lawyers; Guest speaker Gavin Brown, VFL Coach/ Development CFC.

September 17, Peter Mastos from PricewaterhouseCoopers; Guest speakers Eddie McGuire President CFC, Gary Pert CEO CFC and James Clement.
